Description

This very exquisite dessert is basically made with egg yolks and sugar. Originally the recipe was very well hidden by the nuns. There are different ways of presentation, but the most popular is wrapped in communion wafer, with the shape of fishes, shells and other marine elements. This dessert was among the 70 Wonders of Portuguese Gastronomy in 2011.
